I bought the smaller bottle size Nov 2021, 180 count. I reordered June 5, 2022 larger bottle size 180 count. The supplement facts still say 1000mg to 50mg. The larger capsule on the left was the November order. The smaller capsules on the right were in the larger bottle. I still use this to help lower cholesterol. I only gave 4 because I wish they would disclose the change in bottle size to smaller change of capsules. Wondering if really 1000mg citrus bergamot per 2 capsules???

So far, this has been a great supplement. I am awaiting results of my labs and will update then. I didn’t notice any off tasting after taking the supplement and for me it was easy to swallow with no stomach upset.. I would recommend trying this with the advice of your healthcare professional, of course. I think it is a nice addition for a healthy lifestyle.. additionally this is a GMO free product, soy and animal free; which is important for those who may be vegan.

Little capsule

I have been eating better and losing weight (6 lbs in two months). I started taking this supplement November 15th. I had no side effects and it was easy to swallow, no smell, no aftertaste either. I had my lab work redrawn November 25th(3 month interval from annual lab draw). Triglycerides fell from 250 to 75. HDL went up 3 points. A1c is normal. I will keep taking Bergamot extract and continue a healthy lifestyle. My physician is pleased with my labs. I am sure it is a combination of eating better, losing weight and taking the supplement. I take several supplements for my health. Got this one for my high cholesterol but haven't checked that issue yet labs due in December.

I like to see when my cholesterol comes down as it did. it saved me from going on sodium fluoride med and works much better.

Having been told I have high cholesterol, I started taking this to see if it would work better or at least as well as the statins my doctor wanted to prescribe and which give me some unwanted side effects. What I've found is that the bergamot works as well if not better than the statins without the unwanted side effects.The only thing I find unacceptable is the packaging. For although the manufacturer has reduced the size of the bottle, it still arrives only half-full. It would be lovely if the manufacturer did our planet a favor and reduced the size of the bottle so that it would be more nearly full and still allow space for settling and/or a cotton plug to reduce breakage (though this is seldom an issue with capsules). It would also likely allow the manufacturer to cut costs, which could perhaps be passed along to the customer.

Been taking it for a few months feel better over all in mood and energy.

On my third bottle of these, minor HDL improvement, no change in LDL score. I’d love to know of anyone has HPLC testing to validate the bold label claims of standardized 50% polyph. I’ve seen the manufacturer claim they are tested for heavy metals, but a standardization claim like that should be supported with at least one test, I’d think. Or is it just a wild guess thrown on the label 😅

Im am in my 60s and my family has a history of high cholesterol and heart issues. Above all I want to state I did this with my doctor's knowledge and input!I also was on statins but was a no go due to fatigue and muscle issues. I was also genetically tested and have some genes that indicated I was not a good candidate for statins.I tried this for 3 month. I made sure not to change anything about my diet and made sure to keep my weight stable. I do try to eat healthy whole food and limit processed foods and really limit sweets to whole fruits. But I do have my weak moments (cheese, sometimes pizza, sauces, a drink with dinner on the weekends, etc.). I do not beat myself up as I realize its a lifelong quest to improve myself as I grow older and hopefully wiser at times.Ok so here are the numbers US numbers):Total Cholesterol went from 232 to 225Triglycerides went from 214 to 157 (My doctor and I were impressed with this)HDL went from 67 to 75VLDL went from 37 to 27LDL went from 128 to 123So were do I go from here? My doctor and I decided continuing the bergamot and to monitor my bloodwork closely and now try to hone in on some improvements. I am trying to limit cheese, no takeout, and alcohol. Instead of sauces and takeout pizza incorporated more herbs and spices in to the food including turmeric and ginger. Make my own dressings for my salads. Make my own pizza at home. When I can control what goes into my food I always feel better physically and emotionally when I eat healthy. Alcohol well so many reports are coming out about how it does not help the older brain and its one of the easy things to get rid of for me. I started slow by switching from high calorie drinks to lighter drinks and finally down to a shot of vodka in seltzer water and now I just drink the seltzer water at dinner for. Again if you are a heavy alcohol drinker always seek medical advice.I have been experimenting with food as medicine and losing weight for about 10 years and have a pretty good handle of where my food and weight issues are and how to tweak my diet and exercise to loss weight having lost about 80 pounds over these 10 years and keeping it off. I still have 40 pounds I want off but above all I learned to make small changes slowing and it will stick better and don't beat myself up when I get off track just recognize it and regroup and go again.Again keep your doctor in the loop and as a partner in your journey. Sorry for the long review I just want other to understand this is my journey and how I am doing it. This supplement does work and I am just viewing it as a starting point to get this cholesterol under control and like all things health wise I need to also step up and continue to improve my health in safe and effects ways that work for me.

Just purchased this after a while of research. Hope it will help my cholesterol levels.

In June 2022, my dr said my LDL's were at a point where I needed to consider taking a statin. I am not a big fan of prescription meds so I started researching. What I discovered is that Bergamot is excellent for reducing LDLs and increasing HDLs. I told my dr I had a plan and would come back in 4 months or so to have my blood work checked. In November 2022, blood work again. WOW! My LDLs dropped from 184 to 136. Now granted, I have cut back on pizza, cheese and red meat but even so, at 70, my dr said I have a < 6% chance of having heart attack in the next 10 years. As a side note, Bergamot also helps balance your blood sugar. I seriously do not get the sugar cravings I've had for years.I take two capsules per day. They are tasteless and do not create any type of digestive upset. I will continue to order this product and take for the rest of my life.
